I've remembered a true story. In about 2005, I had allergy testing done, and as the doctor went over the test results, he finished up with, "and you're highly allergic to pork." (he was dead wrong, btw)

I didn't crack a smile, didn't blink, and immediately replied, "well, I'm gonna DIE then!"
