Do you ever talk about attractive guys with your family?

No. They're not very gay friendly, plus they are even less attractive than I am, so it would probably make the feel a bit self-conscious.

At any rate, they don't live here, which is why I live here.

My family never asks about my personal life -- it's always about them and their kids and in-laws.
 
No. My family have said some nasty things about gay people so talking to them about it is not great idea. I could talk to my sister but I don't like her.
 
I can talk to my mom..if I suddenly encountered a guy who's totally my type like..

My mom always makes a comment about the type of guys I go for. She thinks I should like the kind of men she likes. She is also confused that I can prefer twinks, but still like bears as well.
 
Oh fuck no! That would be way too awkward for me, talking to family about anything sexual.

My wife points out hot guys to me all the time. Hell, she even picked out my BF for me. :D

Technically I probably could with my sister, but anyone else.. deff not.
 
Hell, no. My family isn't very friendly to gay people. My parents still believe that you get AIDS from having gay sex. Any gay sex will give you AIDS. They don't really understand that it's a virus that causes the disease. Take a wild guess where they got their info from. Hint: family priest...
 
My folks once got me a birthday card with a hot guy on it. Seems like they knew what I was into.
 
I can with my mom. I tell her almost everything. my brothers have accepted I'm gay but never talk about it. if I see someone I'm attracted to I'll say he's hot and they'll just ignore me. I was dating a guy and sent a pic of us to his phone. he flipped out but I didn't care. I said you wouldn't do that if he was a she and that I was finally happy. never heard another word about it.

I see my family so rarely (and none of them are really "phone people") that this never happens. They're living about 1,150 miles away from me, y'know, in Florida...so the topic never even has a chance to come up, or into awareness. Now once I was somewhere with my sister and she asked me if some guy was my type (somebody we both saw, near the beach) and I said YES, and the question struck me as "weird" but entirely OK with it.

Even if the gay topic comes up, there are other aspects that are talked about, usually. Not by design, but just that worldly topics of all kinds accumulate when none of us talk to each other all that often.

What is your mom's type? :lol: well, that basically reminds me of my mom as well. Both of us are fans of dark and brooding type, although I could be more flexible with other features as well..but she's dead on with dark and handsome type (dark hair, eyebrows, hairy, intense)

She's a huge fan of Nyle from ANTM season 22..when we watched that show together, one time she gussed "Oh Nyle is such a dream guy..I would totally crazy to him if I'm in highschool" she said..lol ^^

I just approved but can't explain more my interests-- to keep it pc. I though he's very handsome..but too bad not enough pecs and butts :p
 
My sisters both knows and my dad also know..

but with my dad usually argument when he's about to anti-gay marriage/etc in front of my face..
