  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Do you feel sad when your birthday is forgotten?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, Hunky!! I forgot!
I won't forget again. I hope.
(I'm still learning birthdays of JUBbers.)

No. I hate my birthday and dont want to be reminded of it.

Doesn't bother me one bit.
:D

More put out. If I can sort it out for everyone else, they can at least remember.

Depends who forgets it.

If it's my fella, my parents or my close friends, I might be marginally peeved.

If it's people I have never (nor will ever) met then I couldn't give a shiny shite.

Happy Birthday all the same though. :bday:

i had only one birthday
that was the day i was born
as each years passes
it's a day to celibrate
not a birth day
i don't give a toss to be reminded of that day

It would only be natural to feel sad if your special day is forgotten, Hunky.
Happy birthday, buddy.

tonyboy is CUTE!

Anyway, yeah, I would be sad. The naughty students of one class wished me, and the fav students of my other class did not. Hmmm..

I hardly ever feel sad any more, much less because of such stupid reasons: I was immunized since childhood to mainstream silliness, I prefer my own.

I forgot my own this year. Was only reminded when my Mum rang the next day to say sorry she forgot.

It sometimes bothers me that my father always forgets... and he forgets how old I am. But then, he'd probably forget my name if it wasn't the same as his. He's just kind of vague.

But in general, I don't really care. My birthday comes at an awkward time of year (right after Christmas), so I understand that it might slip people's minds. And then, I don't make a big deal about it (unlike my friend Caroline, who starts reminding people about her Sept. 24 birthday in mid-July), so it's not like there's any real reason for people to remember.

No. I hate my birthday and dont want to be reminded of it.
My exact feelings also. Only one fond memory is associated with my birthday - a lovely, humorous and carrying aunt.

Would this be a good time and place to start dropping hints? :D

Thursday the 9th November.
