My rents are the best, they get me more than anybody. I try to spend as much time with them as possible so that I'll have lots of good memories when they're gone. (I'm actually more afraid of them passing than me passing)

I feel bad for people who don't get along with their parents. I am very lucky that none of my friends or family even came from divorced households.
I made an acquaintance not too long ago who I thought might be a friend, but I now it looks like we won't. Anyway he had a very fucked up childhood. He's gay, his sister is gay and his other sister is mentally disabled. He doesn't talk to his father, and I think he talks to his mother either.

My father is dead. And my mum still treats me as if I was twelve yeard old.

I get along fantastically well with my parents. My mom is the most kind, understanding and generous woman I have ever known. My dad is such an experienced, cool, fascinating man who has done and is doing things that make my jaw drop. I am so blessed to be in this family.

Same here. We fight all of the time because of it.
Honestly for the last few years my mother has been treating me in a way that I think she wants me to kill myself. She drops hints all of the time and some of the time just pretty much says it. I think that she thinks she is thinking stuff, but is saying it so I can hear it. I think treating me like a kid is just part of that. I am sure she likes it when I am depressed.

I don't really know my dad. I have not spoken to him in three years; we do not hate each other, but we just are not interested in each other. Like many others, he has not been a part of my life, so it is not an issue for me.
Currently, my relationship with my mother has been tumultuous. She has a few mental disorders, which is the reason for the instability in our relationship. Her mental health only seems to get worse as she ages.
