Do you get carded?

I still get carded. At 34 years of age, it ain't cute, it's really annoying.

I last got carded at 29, in the US.

Here in .za, I was 26 when I last had to show ID (apart from in the bank, where you have to with every transaction). I have just turned 35.

i've generally had my id at the ready, some clerks looked and some didn't. most of the bars didn't, unless the guy was just being a real **shole.

i also grew up when you could drink,smoke, buy lottery tickers all at 18.

Since I so rarely drink, I am so rarely carded - but when I do drink, i'm carded.

So, based on that, all the time.

By age 16 I had already the hairy chest and quite the heavy 5 o'clock shadow, so I never got carded when buying cigarettes and booze!

All the time Last year I went for a haircut and paid what people <16 years old do.

On a bad day, they'll ask me if I want to show them a card to get a senior's discount.

I'm 21 and I only get carded at certain places. There is only one electronics store that cards me. Quiktrip sometimes cards me. And the bars I go to there is only one that cards me entering. Other than that they don't really bother to card me and this is when it's not even busy.

About a year ago, I was carded at one store, which made me feel pretty damn good... and a week later I was asked if I qualified for Senior Citizen Discount at another store.

I think some people are just REALLY REALLY bad at judging age.

Some places require that indiscriminately (I know Safeway does this alot... a funny outfit that Safeway..). Other places arent adamant about it.

Not usually. I only get carded when I am shaved, in a really good mood, and at a new place.

I only shave for certain people and events anymore so there is a small chance of it happening most of the time.
