Do you guys like it? Actually did you know the word "avatar" comes from Hindu mythology?

Anyways, my avatar is a statue of the Hindu god Ganesha.........Ganesha is commonly known as the Hindu god with an elephant head. He has a large pot-belly because He is known for eating a lot, especially desserts.

Ganesha is known in Hindu mythology as the "remover of obstacles, and the bearer of good luck & success."

^^Well Hindus and Muslims have historically been enemies so most Hindus wouldn't be crying for Muslims..........Pakistan was originally part of India, but the Muslims wanted their own country. And we've seen how great that's working out, now that Pakistan has been exposed as a safe haven for terrorists.

I don't support fundamentalist Islam. We know about all the gay Muslim men in Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, etc.........who are executed & murdered for being gay.

But then again I tend to find a lot of Eastern Religions and their valuing of personal experience to be very refreshing.

Unfortunately, I am very sorry to say that gays in the middle east have been executed BOTH by being hung by a noose in the town square & from having their anuses glued shut (& then forcibly given diarrhea).

From what I understand, it is the gays in Iran who are executed by stoning or hanging........and the gays in Iraq who are executed by having their anuses glued shut (and then given diarrhea).





It's just so tragic......
