  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Do you hate hearing straight guys talk about women?

A little.

It's because I don't know how to respond back. I don't share the same feelings as he does, so I just sit there, nod, and put on a fake smile.

I can't say what guy I find hot. They may respond with discomfort or disinterest.

Because I somehow do look straight(?), I have co-workers and bosses start talking with me about girls at new work places. At one point they might question my sexuality because I can't keep up such conversations, which makes me totally uncomfortable as I'm scared of the bullying that will ensue :/

Do they hate hearing gay guys talk about men?

ah but if they say that, they're labeled as homophobes.

for some reason gay men can say they hate straight guys, but the reverse is discrimination. go figure. or at least if you listen to this place long enough that's what you'll hear.

Not at all. I hate it when straight men can't handle me talking about guys. So I kind of get a kick out of being able to listen to them. For all purposes, talk about how you love tight pussy...as long as I can talk about what I love :D

Not in the least. In fact, sometimes I kind of enjoy it.

It can be a strange sort of turn-on for me.

I know that's odd, but what can I say ?

males no cans talk anyway why they invent jobs ta do it fors a thems ans courts of males dress up got sit fa centurys figure what side path walk on

ans she cross legs again ans yawns ooh just go fresh ma life
-snorre-
' wake up '
-you not ma wife!-
' no me da waiter we closin '

Nope, doesn't bother me in the slightest. I do have one rule though, if the expect me to listen politely to their sexual escapades, I expect them to listen to mine :D

So this. QFT. In so much of the world/media today, everything is about straight sex/heterosexual love...it's nice having straight, guy friends who are comfortable with you talking about men and sweaty buttsecks. :D

Str8 men talking about girls is the same manner as girls talking about men and us gay men talking about other men. Get over it.

Not the least bit bothered really - if I can talk about men within earshot of them why shouldn't they be able to talk about women? Also, I have an uncanny ability to block out unwanted conversation at will.

i get bored when dudes that never get any chicks run their mouths about them.

but i loved when i worked with these gay dudes on the spanish side of town and they'd talk about dudes,

well one of them did, the other dude, would just go and hit on them.

Yeah, Yeah, it shouldn't bother me but it does. All of my friends are str8, so I deal with it on a fairly regular basis, and it gets annoying, but I just deal with it.

I like it when they really get derogatory and dirty. Some str8 guys talk really dirty about women.

That’s like asking if it offends you to hear a dog bark. They bark; it is in their nature. At times I don’t mind it, at other times I find it annoying. But what can you do? Nothing. So I deal with it, or remove myself from the vicinity of the annoying noise.

That was great...Well said.

Guys talk shit about sex.Straight guys do,and I've spent enough time in gay bars to know gay guys do as well.It doesn't bother me and most times I just tune it out if it's boring..

I used to know a guy who would actually get down on his knees in front of the television set and lick the screen when there was a woman there that he liked. He'd 'make love to her' orally as long as she was on the screen.

I can still see him doing that in my head and it still makes me want to puke.

Hell yes. I don't like it at work. I don't like how my co-workers joke about, "Oh I got some pussy, yah man that shit is good.". "You need to get some pussy". "Hey look at that girl you want some of that shit?"

I want to do my god damn job. Not here a bunch of dumbasses talking about pussy to hide their sexuality. Christ I had that at a job in the food service industry a few years ago. The guys would even show me pictures of girls getting fucked on their cell and even video clips.

I will admit that when I worked at a gay friendly place once (all workers were gay). Some of the guys did talk about hot or cute guys they saw there. But it was kind of subtle and not focussed on the sex, raunchy, or trashy aspect. It was more like, "Oh that guy I cute I think he likes me" and etc.

There is a huge difference when it comes to a conversation about women or men and a conversation about fucking or talking about the sexual aspect of a man or women with no limits whatsoever and at work. Why at work? I had a dumbass do that in school too. He always went, "Aww man my wife gave me blueballs I need some bad."

It's annoying. It's also disrespectful to talk that way about co-workers especially if they are in the same room. But I think some of them obviously like it and some of them probably just ignore them. But really there is a time and place for it but not at work.

I like it when guys express they like a girl in a nice way, like "she's so beautiful" or something like that.

But when it's just a bunch of guys being guys and wanting to show their manliness and testosterone to their peers, saying things like "ohh dude she's so f*cking hot I wanna bang her" or something like that, it can be annoying. In that case I'll just quietly leave the room.
