Yeah...only one person knows and that is because I'm awful at keeping secrets from him...plus by now he has forgotten all about it...and I needed his help hiding my secret so that no one would ever find out.

I've got some things I'd RATHER people didn't know. They're not horrible soul-destroying secrets - they're just embarrassing facts about myself, and I'd rather not share them with the group.

I've never been able to keep a secret... too much to remember to not say. Although I do have one or two pieces of information that I don't share broadcast... like the precise measurements of my penis, the exact content of my bank account, or my predilection for... oops, almost said it! See what I mean? But at least one other person knows those pieces of information, so they're not secrets so much as "sensitive information."
I've never been able to keep a secret... too much to remember to not say. I've felt guilt and regret, but never the unforgivable sort. I try to keep my baggage to a minimum. I went to the dentist on Friday, and in the paperwork, they asked about various medical conditions. I don't think it's the actual problem/aspect so much as it is the "nobody must know" aspect of it all. Who needs that sort of weight? That doesn't mean I go around and tell everybody everything at the first opportunity, but I don't consider these things "secrets". One was "psychological problems". I checked "yes" without even thinking about it.

No, I have nothing like that.
I guess there is a value to making regular confessions
as a spiritual discipline.
Each Sunday that I celebrate communion by the rite of my church,
my first words are: "Almighty God, to you all hearts are open, all desires known, and from you no secrets are hid. Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts of the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy Name, through Christ our Lord. Amen." BCP p. 355.
It always occurs to me in this public moment before a usually large group of several hundred people, that it is evidence that I am loved no matter what I thnink my secrets might have been. There are no secrets, and there is no block to God's love for me. And by faith, I am as sure of that as I know that I am saying the words themselves. It is an awesome moment.
