One last poll for the morning. From Mr. Survey Slut himself.

The stereotype is lots of gay men have jobs like interior designer, clothe retailer or hair stylist.

Do you have stereotyically gay job?

I voted NOT AT ALL. I work in the hospitality industry.......but my job is not considered stereotypically gay.

I hope this poll hasn't been done already.

Hell no.

I run camps for pupils as a trainer and design, sell and run educational programs for the company I am in right now and hopefully I get to train adults.

The stereotypical stylist.
(I hope no one is offended by this picture.)

My current job is not, I think, stereotypical. But many of my past jobs have been; wardrobe consultant, guest services, event organizer...

It's pretty stereotypical. I work in retail at a store that's considered a hot spot for the more fashionable people in my area. A big percentage of the guys that shop there are in fact gay, not to mention most of the guys that work there with me. Actually when I first started I was assumed to be one of the only straight guys working there, until my coworkers realized their assumption was wrong.

My future field is in engineering, which isn't stereotypical in the least.

I'll say somewhat. In both my fields, you wouldn't be surprised to run into gay folks, but it's not like that's where you got to find them, either. :)

If you ever feel like convincing anyone you're straight, go into engineering. They might just think you're a straight virgin too though.

Engineering is like theater for straight guys.

Talking about theater....when I was in High School.....I heard the rumor that a lot of gay guys like to take theater.

I went out of my way take theater...(hoping to meet other gay guys to hook up with)!oops! ...and out of class of thirty.....I was the only gay guy there.....

You mean like a Catholic Priest, closeted televangelist or a conservative Republican politician? I'm none of those.
