Night shift 2/6 tonight. New years can bite my shiny metal ass.
 
Yes, I still get my time and a half. And I still get my stat holiday later this week, so its not too bad. This is te first NYE I've worked, so hopefully no one will act like an idiot out there.
 
I've always hated New Year's Eve, and tend to avoid group gatherings. I just hate the number of people that wish you 'Happy New Year' and then haven't the time of day for you during the rest of the year, I just think "Oh fuck off you hypocritical arsehole!" :)
 
Staying home, watching an old movie or two and reading some more of Steve Job's biography.
 
New Years Eve will just be another day for me. Am just beyond happy with God to be alive for another year and prays for many more
 
I've had a few Brown Cows on an empty stomach. I'm in no shape to be riding the train into town now as I'm already more than a wee bit tipsy. So, it looks like a drunken one-man party with the Aneros and Icejack for me tonight.

I did, but looks like I got flaked on. I guess I can put my drinking money back in the bank tomorrow at work, and just focus on my goals.
 
Just to blow up the neighborhood then go to bed. The usual.

Well I think the pic will speak for it's self lol but I'm drinking alone and may just watch a movie to bring in the New Year. :badgrin:

That's probably even worse than being asked by people, on the 2nd of January, "Did you have a happy New Year?"

My usual answer is something like "I don't know - it's too early yet to tell what kind of year this will be" LOL
