Do you have any scars?

I have four 1 inch incision scars on my left shoulder form surgery to repair a torn labrum that happened last year after pulling my shoulder out of the socket while playing tennis.

A scar on my chin from scrapping it against the concrete when I was a kid. I did that several times. No stitches just a lot of butterfly band-aides lol.

Another scar on my right hand just above the pinking from putting my hand through a plate glass window when I was 5. 4 stitches in that one.
 
I think scars add to the good looks of a man and from what I can see here, many men are good looking!

So question I wanted to ask those who had posted is, do you guys feel self conscious about the scars you have or do you accept them/think their cool etc?

PS: I used to have a few more than what I posted previously, but repairing the living tissue over my endoskeleton seems to have fixed the majority! :badgrin:(!)(!)
 
I have a bunch... one on my upper lip from a cat scratching me when I was too young to walk. I still hate most cats.

I have a couple appendectomy scars, a chest tube scar, and a scar at the bottom of my back/top of my ass, all from the same hospital stay.

I also have a few random scars from on my hands from cuts and stuff... nothing big at all there though.
 
I got two scars, one on each butt cheek. They happened at the same time as me and my family were in the cellar cleaning out everything and anything. I was sitting on a fish tank and BAM, shattered and cut me up bad. I didn't feel any pain and didn't even know I was cut until I checked in the bathroom. Wrecked my poor ass and a perfectly good pair of shorts.
 
I've got one from when I had a tumor removed from above my eye as a baby. Also got one from when I fell ice-skating, and another one when I accidentally stabbed my arm.
 
I've got a few. Most of them are on my hands from when I worked in construction.

The ones with interesting stories related to them is:

-Two ugly ones from lower back surgery after a nasty 4m fall at work.
-A small one on my right ankle after a 4-Inch nail (don't ask:-))
-Chainsaw scar on my left knee

I just realized I have a scar on my left forearm too, but I can't remember where I got it.:confused:

I think scars add quite a bit to your identity. I'm not ashamed of mine, they are a part of my history. Pain is temporary, honor is forever;)
 
Yeah I have a nice scar on my face! About 2 inches long but pretty thin, maybe a 16th of an inch wide. Right side, starts by my nose and curves down to the right ending about lip level on my cheek. I don't like to talk about how I got it......
