Congratulations on your weight loss! I have two tattoos, a heart with my nickname on it and the other is a barb wire around my bicep, they look great and have made me very happy. Good luck!

I do! I got this at the last minute on a trip when some friends and I went to get their tats. We all got up hung over just to drive some hundred odd miles for them to get a tattoo. I mainly got it to remember the good times and fun we had.

98% of the guys I find attractive have tattoos.

Whats strange I dont find tattoos hot or unattractive and I find out about their tattoos later...

Soo I like guys who "would" get tattoos. Strange.

I dont have any myself. Thought about getting my mothers signature tattooed across my heart

Then i realized the best gift I could give my mom is not getting a tattoo.... so yeah...

Shit. Anyone know of a good tattoo removal service?

Jeff Gordon comes in 2nd in the Spring Richmond Race

Sorry for the derailment.

I have pictures of my tattoos in my gallery but hidden, I'll move them so people can see them (again) soon.

Damn, that's gonna be an embarrassing tattoo. :(

i have one. its an ambigram of the 4 elements (angels and demons style) and im planning my next one - thats going to be a tribal lion on my left leg

I really want to get one but there are 2 problems. First is the money. Second I can't decide what I want to get. I've been thinking about getting a dragon on my back. My bf. doesn't like them but he wouldn't dump me if I get one.

I promised that I'd get a tattoo after I lost 100 pounds, and that was like a hundred and forty pounds ago... I've been going back and forth about what/where to get inked for like the past year.

I think I've finally decided, though. I'm thinking about a fluer de lis with "je me souviens" under it on my back left shoulder to honor my french canadian heritage (my family's basically been kicking it around Quebec since the 1600's)... it was down to that or "All are but parts of one stupendous whole / Whose body Nature is, and God the soul" on my forearm to honor my favorite poet, Alexander Pope.

my mom is russian, but I'm thinking a hammer and sickle might not go over well in some circles even though I did devote like half my academic career to studying Karl Marx ;)

Jeebus, how much did you weigh?

And yes I have several small tattoos on my left arm. Got the last one at least 15 years ago.

DON'T DO IT! If you were smart enough to loose all that weight, don't be stupid and get a tattoo. I've seen too many beautiful bodies ruined by tats, and even the best ones will cease to look "cool" in time; remember that there are fashions in ink just as there are fashions in clothes and that what looks great to you now will simply look stupid in fifteen years. Praxiteles didn't sculpt Hermes with tats, nor did Michelangelo paint Adam with ink. YOU'LL REGRET IT IF YOU DO. (I recently read an interview with Ryan Phillippe, talking about his body art, rationalizing a tattoo he got when he was seventeen as admittedly stupid, but OK because it illustrated how stupid he was at the time. Give me a break!)

i have 1. it was an impulsive decision i made when i was 16. i'm starting to regret it now, although i recognize it could be so much worse.

None. And never will.

The appeal is a bit of a mystery.

Once I heard only those who have issues with past abuse get tattoos. If true, there are a lot of abused people out there....

I've always wanted one, then go through phases of nah maybe not, then moments like now I do again! Thinking maybe on my ankle or side of my stomach

All my peers seem to have tattoos, amazingly I haven't decided to get one.

I want a tattoo, I know I do. I just need to commit to one. I want my tattoo(s) to tell a story of my life, guess i'm not old enough for that to happen yet.

Wow that s funny..Because just today I was at Barnes and Noble, thumbing through a copy of ''INKED'' magazine and they happened to do a spot on that handsome mofo Ryan Philippe.

Maybe you read the same article, where he discussed the SIX tattoos he has.He did say his first was his most embarrassing. But apparently, it wasn't enough to turn him off to getting anymore. From the article..Of his six tattoos, Ryan says his first is the most embarrassing. “It’s kind of bleeding and looks like a butterfly. It’s cliché. But I was 19—it should have been a cliché.”

Personally, I like his tats...Anyone intersted in the article can read it here. But you don't see as many of them in the online version for some reason..

Fursonas are an avatar that furries adopt. Furries are people who identify strongly with certain animals (usually anthropomorphic). I'm personally a fur because of my spiritual beliefs; to be honest, I'm a bit of a were (which is less anthropomorphic and more realistic) and a bit of a fur. I've always defied conventional labels, so I don't see why I should start now.

I see. Thanks for clearing that up...

Does anybody know what the hell he's talking about?

not really a good pic but meh
