do you have sympathy for Greek protestors ?

I am unsure. I have not studied the Greek Crisis enough to have a fundamental understanding of the events. But, my sympathy, which I do have to some extent would be, why did you not hold your elected officials accountable, and why have you not opened criminal/ civil charges and fines against the ones responsible for your mess.

I have sympathy, I do. But, merely feeling for a person is not going to solve their situation. The questions I asked were actually fundamental in solving the mess.

I guess the EU and the IMF could just throw money at them and play like it will never happen again. But, tough questions have to be asked, honest answers given, and legitimate reform to prevent it from happening again. Do you honestly think Germany will bail out Spain, Portugal, and Ireland also if the same happens to them, which is a likely situation?

And, considering that Germany gave up their own currency to unify Europe to this extent one has to wonder how many more of these bailouts Germany will have to rescue before it says, ENOUGH.

Feeling sorry for a group of persons is not going to fix anything for long, offering real solutions though is more than sympathy but more like empathy or compassion. But, anyhow, that is for another day.

Isn't this problem caused in part because the Greeks are notorious tax dodgers?
I have heard reports that up to 60% undereport or do not pay taxes at all.
If this is true they brought this on themselves

Your information is incorrect.

Most working Greeks pay their taxes at salary source. In other words pay as you earn.

Professionals such as lawyers, doctors, dentists etc. have a well established reputation for paying far too little tax.

Value added tax is added to all sales transactions. This cannot be avoided if you purchasing goods, or paying for a service, say in a restaurant.

Most of our fiscal problems are due to poor government management of our economy.

There is much more, but I am sure that the media will continue to supply us with information.

Yes, but if Politicians willing and knowingly cause harm to the economic well being of the country than perhaps criminal charges are in order. And, the Fine State of New Jersey what all of a year ago have several politicians go to the big house. And, was California the worlds 8th or 9th largest economy issuing IOU's not too awful long ago, and what about this Goldman Sachs problem, it seems in some cases Criminal Charges might be warranted especially if irresponsible politicians knowing harmed the well being of others for profit.

You are acting as if I am talking about the citizens and not the elected officials that caused this mess.

Umm, I am talking about the Elected Officials that got them into this mess rather than the citizens themselves. I think if their is sufficient evidence and the appropriate judicial hearings than Greece should take criminal action. Just like the USA should, especially against Goldman Sachs.

The citizens are responsible as well. There are only so many entitlements and other benefits you can ask for from the government before the budget becomes imbalanced. The Greeks were asking for too much, and now are demonstrating because they're faced with the reality that their lifestyles are going to have to change.

Whats happening in Greece is a complete economic takeover and it is expanding world wide. Goldman Sachs IS very guilty for a lot of this. Fall of the Republic explains how this financial system is being used to create artificial crisis so that the very ones who created the crisis can then present the solution so that the can get everyone under their control.

I don't post the actual full videos very much anymore because I use to post them way to much and people got all angry about it but recently people have been not able to find the video simply by my link so I hope this documentary is helpful.

Jesus youre posting these videos all over the place, be careful that might qualify as spam.

No sympathy primarily for Greek politicians, who have lied regularly to voters, to the EU, to financial markets, and who have not enforced their own laws.

I would almost agree with the idea of installing a supervisor from the Bundesbank to oversee things.

I don't know why Greek voters aren't demanding a new election.

i don't respect this kind of fast video editing for documentary .
It cuts out whole sentences and keep only afew words. Its called taking words out of context.

No it does not take words out of context. Have you seen the whole move or have you judged it BEFORE you seen all of the evidence. Judging stuff before you see all the evidence is motivated by your feelings, not by an honest attempt to seek truth.

Thanks for the information.
I was reading an article about doctors refusing credit cards and wanting cash only, I guess that includes the other professionals too.
Personally I think the U.S is heading in the same direction.
