  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Do you have white teeth?

Most Hollywood stars do not whiten their real teeth---their mouths are filled with 100K worth of veneers. Some like slutty Miley Cyrus
have so many they make her mouth look full of big giant teeth.:D

Unfortunately politicians as well as celebrities have to fill their mouths with 100K worth of veneers.

Fake.

My teeth are not as white as I would like. I don't smoke and rarely have coffee anymore, but my teeth are naturally off-white. I sometimes wonder if my draining sinuses could sometimes stain them a little. They are not really yellow or brown though. I would like to have Hollywood white teeth but don't have the money to have them professionally whitened. In my parents time, adults all had false teeth sometime in their fifties. I have most of my teeth with a few crowns. I have noticed more young people with really white teeth and wonder how much their parents paid for that. Really white smiles are attractive.

but my teeth are naturally off-white.

Speaking of naturally, I recall: I've learned that some antibiotic medication during the mother's pregnancy can heavily influence the child's teeth colour. That appears to be true in my own case since both my parents and my children have definitely whiter teeth than I have, and my mother was forced to take one of the antibiotics in question during pregnancy.

I like to have white teeth like a celebrity.
Do you have white teeth or yellow stained filthy teeth?

Discuss.

I wore braces for over 2 years. Once they were removed I saved up to get the Zoom Whitening procedure which was done by my orthodontist. It was over $300 bucks, but it was worth it

Now if I can only get back into the habit of wearing my retainers before bed, I'll be all good.
:(

And referring to anyone without cosmetically whitened teeth as filthy yellow is indeed trolling, on the same kiss-the-ass-of-wealthy-and-unrealistic-celebrity-idols path as before.

You are actually wrong about this. I used celebrities teeth In my OP because they're the ones who have completely white teeth. Crest white stripes are completely affordable and you don't need to be wealthy to own them at all.

They apparently give you the same professional results of a Celebrity.

What a strange question from an Englishman.

Of course you don't -- you have to still have teeth at 30 for them to be yellow.

One of our longstanding members on JUB lives in England, works full time, and cannot get his teeth fixed. It's hardly a birthright. He'd love to have his teeth mended but cannot afford it..

Did you just not Insult this English member of JUB by placing all Englishmen's teeth under the same category?

And don't forget to bring in race. Dark skin makes teeth look whiter.
.[/B]

Nah your alright, I don't bring race into any of my posts never have. But you appear to be bringing that one up for what reason I wonder.

But, Hollywood set the tone for veneers, caps and bleached teeth. England earned its dental stigma after having conquered the world. I guess first things first. No time to brush teeth while enslaving the colonies.

You could stereotype Americans with McDonalds after all it earned its fast food stigma, but I won't attack other nations like you seem to enjoy doing in many of your past posts.

For those who drink red wine, tea, Coffee and other staining foods, white teeth are not achieved by simple hygiene; therefore it is a false dichotomy to state.

This isn't true at all. I drink coffee and with a whitening toothpaste, mouthwash and an electric toothbrush you can maintain a healthy white look I just don't think you studied that one enough.#-o

I do use the white stripes, now to make them even whiter.

Thank you for clarifying what your OP meant.

Remember to ask a question before you all out attack me and my nation the way you just did because it can cause unnecessary arguments when you jump to conclusions.;)

Anyway, enough said.(*8*)

I never had braces myself, but my sister needed them.

Just had a talk with my dentist, and he assured me that my teeth colour — which I, comparing with my family, perceive as a greyish-yellow — in fact is slightly brighter than average.

European teeth have an average shade "A3.5"

And again regarding Europeans, "B1" is a bright white which looks good — on a TV screen, but quite unnatural everywhere else.

^^

^ What a rude statement from someone who gets antsy if anyone criticizes the USA but who's happy to slur the British monarch's husband
That's ok, he tries to make random attacks on an individual to bait them Into a row, but if that's his thing I'm not playing. I tend to ignore that kind of negativity from anyone who likes to lecture rudely, then play the victim.#-o;) If that's not trolling I don't know what is.

He attacks England a lot yet still makes posts about the time he spent there.

Aside from staining, and other unnatural damage (such as by medication), slightly yellowish teeth are healthier. Chalk-white teeth are weaker & more prone to decay.
Artificially whitening healthy teeth weakens them.

I hope you do. It may be inconvenient now but it will be worth it.

In England most residents get their teeth checked on the NHS regularly to maintain a healthy smile.

Most do not, dentistry in the UK pretty much went private a long long time ago with nowhere enough NHS dentists to go around. To get it free you have to be unemployed or on a very low wage on the whole.

I'm not really caught up on the colour of my teeth. I drink alcohol, coffee and tea and I smoke occasionally. But I do brush my teeth regularly, floss less so (more so if I get a little blood) and use mouth wash. Never had any work done on my teeth nor braces or fillings, and the most dentists have said is floss a little more.

I would say my teeth were healthy and a normal colour - someone with perfect white teeth are not living enough, or trying to hide living. I find it a bit creepy if someone has super white teeth.

You can always get Snap On Smile at cheaper cost than invasive and very expensive veneer procedure.

My teeth are slightly yellow, but I asked my ex dentist and he said it is normal for some people. I don’t like it because I have two built on front teeth and people can tell the bottom halves are not real because they are white.

My teeth are now whiter than they have ever been since I started to brush with Colgate.
