Do You Laugh At Things You Don't Find Funny?

I use laughter as my way of communicating things except sorrow and anger. When I find things funny, cynical, ironic, strange, rhetorical, or when I want to show I understand, I laugh out (in different gestures). Thus, it's easy for me to be in an awkward situation when laughing is actually inappropriate.

I do it to avoid awkwardness.

It gets annoying when you have to repeatedly fake laugh. I know people that constantly tell lame jokes, comebacks, and stories. It gets to the point where my tummy hurts from forcing chuckle after chuckle.

I'd start laughing at the awkwardness of them laughing hysterically while I am quiet...
