I eat corn less than any other starch. We didn't count it as a vegetable in our menu. If you ate potatoes, rice, pasta, or corn, you generally didn't eat another from that group in the same meal.

I prefer it in the cornmeal form. It makes great cornbread.

Corn and black bean salsa is great. And creamed corn is a good dish occasionally.

As I have aged, I eat popcorn rarely, as it gets under the gum line and can cause a lot of woe.

My elementary school was named after the local sweet corn farmer, and our city festival is the corn festival. So you're born to eat corn here.
