I grew up on egg. Fried is the ONLY way I can eat egg. I've come to dislike the aroma. Scrambled egg and omelet causes nausea and ultimate vomiting for me. Something about mixing tomatoes and cheese with the egg. Omelets are gross anyways.

I love eggs! Most of the time I scramble them up, but I like to have them sunny-side up every now and then.

Eggs are one of my favorite foods. So many different ways to eat them. Scrambled with cheese and jalapenos, poached, coddled, or fried. One of my favorite ways to cook them at home is what I refer to as "egg in the hole". Take a look at the picture and you'll see what I mean.

Is the bread toasted before, because won't it get soggy from the egg?

It doesn't get soggy. Put butter in the skillet first and melt it, then the bread toasts as the eggs cook. I don't know why, but this has a whole different flavor than just frying eggs and toasting bread on the side.

My Mom used to call them 'circus eggs' when I was a kid... (I don't know why, and apparently she doesn't, either... )
