I love onions, and I love French onion soup too, as well as onion rings :-)
I like them either cooked or not... I prefer purple onions if they're gonna be raw; they're not as strong.
 
Love the taste, not the breath after though. If someone is speaking to me and they have onion breath I almost wanna barf.
 
I didn't vote in the poll; but that's because I dislike onions, but I make an exception for onion rings. The batter seems to cut away the taste of the onion enough to make it palpable to me...So it wasn't quite a cooked VS uncooked issue, and I didn't know how to vote, so I abstained.
