I watch a lot of rugby, beach volley ball and fighting sports (MMA/ Judo/ Taekwando) when I was a teen. Definitely love winter sports since they are the only sports I actually started doing/ competing (ice skating). I don't know how to swim but I do watch a lot of diving and gymnastics. Speaking of which Figure Skating Grand Prix is on season now and my sister bought tickets to the paris event next week!!!! (!)

sports can be great, depends on what youre into. c'mon who doesnt watch the olympics at least a little? i know all you guys are tuned in for the rowing and and swimming! lol Sports are a huge part of human history and likely will continue to be.

sport is such a generic term also, professional pool and golf are sports! they are mostly mental games but the are considered sports.

for those who detest sports, stop being so closed minded! you know that record of how many times you beat off in one day? well thefact that you kept score and eventually made it a point to beat that shows that you have a competative nature as do all humans and you actively participated in beating the record.

Stupid analogy but it should suffice with a bit of humor.

Rock!

I like to play and watch. And yes I can get quite "passionate" about them when watching on TV.

You're on, as I recall my down smash was inescapable.

I can swim too, so I don't need lifeguard

College Basketball, Baseball, & Rugby. Do not like Football. It is a few seconds of action then stop. As far as Soccer Hate it.

I love, love, LOVE college football. I've watched it religiously for most of my life. And Autumn would be empty without it. Pro football is OK but I'm not as fanatic about it. I watch my local team (Detroit Lions, which is not always easy) and I watch the Super Bowl every year.

Basketball and hockey are great. I like baseball but the pace can get annoying at times. It's the only major sport that doesn't use a clock and sometimes it feels like an eternity passes between pitches.

One sport I don't like is soccer. There was an episode of Modern Family a couple years back where Jay summed up my feelings about soccer perfectly. He said, "I prefer to watch sports where something actually happens." Bingo!

Hockey and [professional] football are my sports. I go to the Pats games and a few Bruins games when I get the chance. Don't care for baseball or basketball.

Glad the Sox won the World Series but don't really care.

Trained and swam competitively for about fourteen years. Played water polo for a season. Body surfed for as long as I can remember; board surfed a lot for about a year. Played basketball and football as a kid but that was about it. I watch college football if I care about the teams, and they're four: two universities because I'm an alumnus, one because I briefly taught there, and the last because my partner's an alumnus. Have only a passing interest in pro football, more interest in pro basketball, and zilch interest in hockey. Come to think of it, I enjoy watching futbol more than football. The last college game I went to was fun because of the camaraderie in the stands, but there were so many time outs for television commercials the game experience was disjointed and eventually tedious. Likewise attending a baseball game (which I do about once a year) is only fun because of the camaraderie in the stands. My partner will get up at five in the morning to watch grand slam tennis, and is glued to the television for certain golf tournaments. I like watching tennis, but am bored by golf, except when a really cute guy is playing. It goes without saying that I love watching gymnastics.

Are you talking sports to participate in, like hanging out with a group of friends and having a little fun..... Or do you mean sitting in a soft chair or couch and screaming incoherently at the TV while a bunch of overpaid, overgrown children make a mockery of organized sports?

Well, I guess that answers the question anyway.
