cooking every day is tedious and not fun--once in a while is fine --people here get food to go or go out to eat all the time--I try not to do that as I'm trying to control what I eat and you can't do that in a restaurant.

We bought our condo because it has a large kitchen and serving island; perfect for entertaining. Both the hubby and I love to cook but I especially love to bake.

I don't mind it, but at the same time I don't really get any enjoyment from it.

When I cook, I tend to put my headphones on and reflect or daydream. It just hasn't proven itself to be an engaging activity for me, and my mind is usually elsewhere the entire time.

I don't bake, and I can't make any complex meals; I've simply never learned how. I just make basic things like chicken/vegetable soups, fried rice, stir fries, omelettes etc.

Despite not enjoying it as a hobby though, I do think cooking with a guy is incredibly romantic. It's been a longtime fantasy of mine.

I cook because I have to, not necessarily because I like to.

but I grew up with a mom who's a terrible cook, so if I wanted a meal that wasn't out of some kind of box or can and had any kind of flavor, I had to learn to cook so I could make it myself.

somehow ended up with a boyfriend who's a terrible cook too I usually cook about twice/week and try to make enough to have leftovers for a couple days.

I really enjoy cooking and I do it quite often but I have to be in the mood, sort of like sex! My specialties are sauces and soups. My balls, I mean meatballs are usually requested by friends. I am a good baker too and my casseroles are good and lots of fun. Some weeks I will cook everyday and others I get out of the way and it's either take away or my partner will do the cooking, he is an amazing sandwich maker!
