Do you look your age?

I like to think that I don't look my age, but every once in awhile I get a look at myself in a store window and think OMG do I look bad like a fat old man. Once in awhile someone tells me they didn't think I was that old, but I think it has more to do with sometimes how I dress and act.

There are a few age guessing apps, and websites available for the truly adventurous.

Depends on the population sample used in comparison. At my gym here in Southern California, probably no. Were I at an airport in the American Midwest, without a doubt yes.

I don't know, do I? I'm 35.

I do know that I am fond of the grey coming in. Always have been. No idea why. Personally, don't care about looking "young", whatever "young" is these days. :D

No ...
Maybe ...
It's complicated ...

On the one hand, since I stopped going to the beach after age 35, my face is definitely not lined enough for my age.

On the other hand, I grew my first white hair in grade school and was certifiably salt-and-pepper by age 25. The hair on my head went all white some years ago, but there was so much of it that I didn't look old. Now the hair has finally started thinning for real, and I'm not happy about it.

And, alas, I've developed a serious case of Resting Bitch Face as I've gotten older. When my face is relaxed, the corners of my mouth just slope down. It's disconcerting to see myself on Zoom.
