He is just a celebrity gossip blogger and that's it. Advocate went two steps ahead and made him a hero and spokesman for the gay community. That is just BS. I don't hate him but I also don't love him and so are the people I know. The cover story created quite a stir so much so that the magazine's editor had to clarify some things.

When you get punched in public and the only public sympathy you can garner is from Spencer and Heidi Pratt....your reputation precedes you.
 
Personally, he fits into the 'I wouldn't piss on him if he was on fire' category. That said, he's been remarkably 'subdued' since his slapping - perhaps he's actually realised how much hurt his bitchy comments have done to celebs.

Yeah, I think when even celebs still supported him getting hit, it made him step back and take notice.
 
Maybe one of the things that knocked some sense into Perez is that the Matthew Shepard Foundation stated point blankly that they would not accept any money if he were to win in court. He had publiclly pledge the money to them if he were to win.
 
I only know what I read on the internet/in papers and he just seems like a massive prick.
