Do you love your job?

Yes, I love my job. I certainly don't do it for the pay.

Today was one of those days that made me love what I do. A student came into my room during a different class to turn in her book. She informed me she was moving... tears were running down her cheek. She was worried I'd be upset that she didn't turn in her missing work. I told her I wasn't, that I understood why she was leaving. She then gave me a big hug and thanked me for making her learn to be responsible and standing up for herself. It's days like these that I thank God I'm a teacher.

As a matter of fact, I do love my job. I go to work happy each day. And even though I am mentally tired at the end of the day, I am still glad to return the next day. :D

Not the dreamjob I have in mind, but I guess the grass is not that less green here compared to other fields. So, I am staying. Besides, the guys here are cute. : )
 
I would not say I love my job, but I do like it. It challenges me in many ways. If I do my job well I am able to encourage and support people who have developmental delays which leads to satisfaction for me. I've been doing it for 18 years now.
