I make an effort. I certainly don't try to make people sad.

It depends on who the "other people" are.

I don't do anything shitty or underhanded or shady to other people as a rule but I also avoid alot of other people and some of them are not happy about it.

I also think sometimes the kindest thing to do to someone is tell them the truth if they need it. Kinda like if you see someone drowning you pull them out of the water. It is difficult and doesn't seem kind at the moment but I do it sometimes because someone has to and I am someone.

I don't try to make anyone unhappy, but don't usually go too far out of my way to make people happy either. Occasionally I listen to someone who lives alone and needs to vent or talk to someone.

I make people happy in a moment if that counts. I have a sense of humor and use it often. Making someone laugh makes my day.
Friends, family and co-workers get a laugh. My guy can make me laugh. When he came to visit in the beginning of Feb, he called me at the airport to let me know he was on the way and said do you remember the movie Misery ( because of my healing broken leg). I said you don't have a hammer. He said yes it is on my carry on bag. I said, ok, I will have to keep an eye on you. When he got on the plane, he texted me to say airport security confiscated it. He made me laugh.

I have to say that when I found out that my sis had covid last weekend, I was worried.

So we sent her an enormous bouquet of spring flowers. Of course she had also fallen that morning and is prone to breaking bones.

But her email made it clear that we had made her very happy. In the midst of pain.

So that is good.
