I love a nice hot dry* summer day.
In deep winter, I'll miss summer...but it doesn't work the other way around

(* dry as in low humidity. rain on the other hand is a good thing)

We have been reaching 30° for most days of the past week, usually around 2:00 or 3:00 pm.

So perhaps for a moment, a snow drift seems refreshing. But mostly I am thrilled to be away from them because I will surely see them soon enough.

No. I'm a creature of the sun-belt and do not like the cold. Snow is pretty and I loved it when I used to ski.

But that sport is more about the adrenaline rush and not the snow. The OMG I'm gonna die, this is better than sex feeling.

Nope, not at all winter felt like it lasted way too long. I hate how it gets dark so early and you have to bundle up to go outside.

No, I hate cold. (and by cold I mean single-digits F or below)

Basically the same temperatures where I stop saying "cold" and say "frigid" instead.

No, I'm not missing winter yet. Although it can get too hot, I don't like cold either.

On a really hot and horrible summer day, I won't yearn for winter, but I'll wish it was October or April.

I like winter...don't miss it though. It'll be here soon enough and probably stay just a bit too long.

My favorite part is when we get a good storm and get snowed in for days. It's like all responsibilites in the real world get put on hold and you just get to spend time at home cooking and relaxing...watch movies and play games, etc. (The etc. is the best part ) Your biggest care is if you have enough beer/wine until you can get out again...and if not, it's a 6 block trek through knee deep (or more) snow to the nearest convenience/liquor store. It's great!

The transition to spring sucks though.

We have winter back. An early cold snap, all the vegetables in the garden suddenly wilted and done, the trees covered in snow. I was ready to miss it a bit more intensely.

First time ever some ski resorts are opening on early November over here... although temps are actually as mild as usual this time of the year.

When exactly is deep winter?

Temps have been constantly staying in the lower 30s to upper 20s. Some nights dropping into the 10s. Usually by mid march we are solidly in the 50s. With a few days here and there breaking 60 or 70.
