I have a veritable arsenal here. Let me think...I own all kinds of things that have been used to hurt, maim or kill people in the past, somewhere:

My hands
My feet
Knives in the kitchen
My car (actually a utility van/truck)
A couple frying pans
A 5-megaton thermonuclear warhead, missile and launching pad
Rat and mice poison
Rope, electrical cords, etc.
Lye/bleach

I could keep going, all I have to do is think of others.

I lied about ONE of the weapons, but I'm sure that nobody can spot which one.

I've been collecting a few lately. Mostly for decorative purposes. Most of them aren't sharp except for the one that looks a bit like a hunting knife. It got me as I was polishing them up tonight. (Just a little prick though..) I have them grouped for the one pic that is in my gallery at the moment but I've taken a bunch of other pictures of them individually which I'll post in my gallery later.

would a Swiss Army knife be considered a weapon? i mean, just cuz of the utilitarian tools it has along with the knife, i've wondered if that counted.

i'm also looking at learning how to shoot a gun at some point

I own a hatchet, several knives, a ratan sword for sparing, a spear, and a Celtic leaf blade war sword. If I can get the money together, I'd like to start picking up a number of hand crafted, historically accurate, weapons from around the world. Mostly Asian, European, and Middle Eastern weaponry from before the invention of gunpowder. It's expensive, but I admire a well made weapon from that time period.

I have my grandfather's rifle in storage at my parent's house and a pistol crossbow here at mine which I'm pretty good with. I also have a few smaller knives. Would like to own a a few high quality swords and staffs.

I have three .44 magnum revolvers, a shot gun, and an AK-47. After I got shot when someone tried to rob me, I decided I wasn't going to let that happen again. If I hear anyone say "give me your wallet", they're going to the morgue no questions asked.

oooh where did you get the AK?

iv got a ruger handgun, and a couple of shotguns. ammunition is easily accessable if necessary......but i hope i never have to use them.

I haven't owned any weapons since I turned my M-16 and my 45 in when I was discharged. I am thinking about picking up something to use for target practice, but I haven't done it yet.

A word to those who do own weapons for self defence. Keep your weapon clean and loaded. Clean so that it will fire correctly if you need it. Loaded because an intruder isn't going to wait for you to load your weapon. And most importantly, never pull your weapon unless you are going to use it. This is so that it isn't used on you.
