Do you say hello when you see an ex?

*sigh* to have an ex means I have to have a boyfriend first...

...but I speak to my imaginary ex on a daily basis.

Hahahah, you and me both. Do friends count as exes? If so, it depends.

Basic politeness is good to follow in most situations. This does not require forced joviality. A polite smile and a nod of the head should be sufficient.

That's exactly what I think and exactly what I do. I don't have any exes-exes...I mean real ex-boyfriends, because the only relationship I've been is the one I am in now. BUT, sometimes I run into guys with whom I tried things out (that didn't work) and I just smile at them or wave them or say "Hi" from the distance.

I just go nothing to talk about or feel like doing so and I really don't want them to think there's still a spark there.
