Do you shower with the bathroom door open?

Have you seen Hitchcock's "Psycho"?

Thank you! I am now going to have several days where I can't close my eyes whilst in the shower. It took me years to get over the effects that that scene from the film had on me. Showering with a curtain required the bathroom door locked. I now have a glass screen but even so I find myself occasionally obliged to keep my eyes open just in case.

^ That's totally me. I have too much imagination for my own good.

I keep the door closed. I'm paranoid. I always expect someone would barge into the toilet, even though I know there's no one, and I locked my room door.

never. I like the bathroom to be warm and steamy when I get out of the shower, not freezing cold.

I shower with the door open... I don't like steam building up and running down the walls and mirror, plus years of sharing a bathroom with the cat needing to use the litter box.

Even if I'd never seen Psycho I wouldn't want the door open and be behind a curtain. I have an exhaust fan in the ceiling that removes the steam. If I lived alone I'd be even more paranoid. I'd probably check all the closets and behind the shower curtain every time I came home for the evening.

I think a bit of paranoia is excusable. You don't know what psychos are out there

Yes I do.

Being cold aggravates me to no end. So when I get out of the shower, and dry off, the last thing I want to do is open my bathroom and feel every last degree of how much cooler the rest of my apartment is. Somehow, when I shower with the bathroom door open, the effect is moderated, allowing my body to adjust from a hot shower to room temperature without it being so much of an immediate shock.

I do this every time I'm alone !oops!

I shower with the door and window open. I charge $25 for the neighborhood strip show.

at my boyfriend's place, if we shower with the door open, the cat is likely to try jumping in the shower with us

oddest cat ever, he loves water.

have a constant " open door" policy at home , that way the dogs always know where i am and they can get to me. ( my 2 rescues are extremly emotionally scared ..so when they see a closed door and they KNOW im home they panic) ... going out the front door is different for some reason .

Yes. There's no fan in my bathroom and this old building is susceptible to mold.
