Do you shower with the bathroom door open?

No, but only because it keeps my cats out. They come in and meow at me otherwise.

I have an exhaust fan in my bathroom, so whether I leave the door open or not, it will still be freezing cold when I get out of the shower. Still though, I close the door because I like the privacy.
 
Depends on the time of year and the general level of humidity in the house.

I would close the door when the house is humid and use the fan to clear the room.

I'd leave the door open when the house is dryer and more desiccated than Ann Coulter's box, which happens very often in prairie winters, so I give the house a little humidity.
 
I do at home if the other people are there, otherwise no. I don't at the gym - since it's not home and it's not a controlled space, I don't like the idea of not having a clear view of my surroundings and the way out for in case. As it is, the showers there are small and poky and I keep elbowing the doors open when I turn around if I do have them shut.

And no, this is not me a colossal pervert, although I suspect nobody here believes me :D; it's more not wanting to be surprised by anyone/anything.

Since I live with my friends I tend to close the door for some privacy but keep it unlocked so someone could use the toilet if they really needed to. Everyone here basically does the same.
 
Since I live alone depends upon time year winter usually closed in spring, summer open with window open also.
 
Our entire bathroom is a shower. We remodeled and waterproofed the entire bathroom, tile from top to bottom and the floor. So we actually shower out in the open. Plenty of room for two.
 
When I lived on my own, yeah... kept the mirrors from fogging up, and, well, who cares, I'm home alone! :lol:
 
Always closed and locked. Keeps the steam and warmth in and keeps the knife-wielding maniacs out.
 
If I don't close the door, I'll be freezing after I get out of the shower. I like it to be a steam room till I'm done drying myself off. I also do that when I have a buddy joining me in the shower. :)
 
Nope, never. Even when I'm alone, that door is closed.

Mostly because I sing in the shower, so closing the door is the extra means from keeping people from hearing me as they pass by.
