Do you smoke weed?

I'm consistently smoking weed but now that I'm graduating college this semester I'm on a detox :-/
 
I've gotten enough second-hand smoke I might as well have smoked it.

Reason why I'm asking is because I'm curious if you have double standards in comparison with alcohol, which is so common.

Lets say a person smokes weed 3-4 times a month, do you think that's worse than a person who drinks alcohol 3-4 times a month?

It depends. People smoke marijuana without a filter, so they're getting much more stuff in theirsmoke than with filtered cigarettes.

How many people smoke 20 joints a day though?

Either way cannabis is many times less addictive than both alcohol and tobacco so for most people it's easy to keep it in moderation and easier to quit it. I've always said the worst thing about cannabis is that people tend to mix it with tobacco.

I have two processor cooling units setting here. One new, still in the box, and one taken from a pothead’s desktop pc.

I should take a snap and post it here. I think I got a contact high just from dismantling and cleaning his crusty/sticky pc innards. Yuck!

And, you should have seen the video card cooling unit. I could have twisted up 4 or 5 joints of that goop alone.
 
I only drink once a month, sometimes twice if there's a special occasion or something. And I never drink enough to get drunk. I would feel the same about weed.
 
I am amazed how many people here never even tried once.
I am not being judgmental, but I am genuinely surprised............
 
Last year a Juber created a thread about Pharmaceutical Drugs and the High rate of Prescription Meds..Having insurance VS not having it and Co-Pays......It was a Civil conversation that had just as many pages as this thread...For some strange reason a few Jubers got upset that the Thread was a HIT and reported the thread to The Mods. A Moderator closed the thread and said that was enough talk about Prescriptions...

So it's ok to talk about smoking Weed that you have to buy off the streets but talking about Prescription medicine is a no-no?...Wow...
 
Prescription medicine is much worse... actually some of the worst drugs you can abuse.

But yes its still strange and unfair that it can't be discussed in the same way.
 
Well smoking weed usually has mellow effect, anti-uptight. Those people just need to light up ;)

After my first time I was SHOCKED at how mild of a drug it is. I pretty much lost all faith in society realizing there is a war against such a plant while people can use tobacco and alcohol as much as they want, both above average in addiction and harm.
 
I feel like I'm never gonna try it. I've been around it before and the smell makes me sick O.o
 
It's very rare in modern societies for people to be completely drug free. Many more think they are than the ones who actually are.

People forget to count things like caffeine and aspirin. A lot of people even still believe alcohol isn't a drug.

Most things the government started have been a long term failure, but they never admit it. I'm all for legalization, even though I have no intention of ever using the stuff. I have very strong reservations about smoking anything. I believe smoking to be very detrimental to one's health.
 
I've never smoked weed. Never wanted to, and was never offered or in a situation where it was available. I'm not worried about it either. :)
 
When I was younger I partook on several occasions. However, I'm not a smoker, and as one friend of mine astutely observed, I seemed to enjoy the idea of it more than the substance itself. I've never had anything harder, although for a while I moved in circles where quite a lot of different drugs were taken: heroin, coke, you name it. Was never my thing.
