And I, too, am wondering what kind of 'experiments' are you mean. If you're talking about medical experiments (such as dissection), it's been done for centuries. Doctors and pathologists were examining the brains of murderers and other dangerous criminals to try to find a common link long before it became improper and the criminals were required to donate their bodies for study.

i was watching this documentary and was disappointment because they didn't find out why he killed. Maybe behavior scientists should study "experiment" him and get answers before his execution ?

There is every possibility that even they didn't know why they did it. Psychologists and psychiatrists can only guess. And you still haven't told us what kind of 'experiments' you expect them to do.

If they have the criminal's full consent, why not? Doing this without letting the subject know is inhumane and morally wrong. By doing this, in a way, the scientist is no different than the person he's experimenting on.

Maybe it's much more complex than that? You have to go back to upbringing/mental illness history/atmosphere. People don't just "suck" - I'd like to believe undesirable behavior stems from a very troubled history but Jeffery Dahmer contradicts this theory, maybe you're just born a dud? Idk.

There are plenty of people who legally donate their bodies - including their brains - to science for study. There is a video out there somewhere about a man who who donated his body after he was executed and was slice for the top of his head to the soles of his feet. Has anyone else seen it?

There are conclusive studies that show that some sociopaths and psychopaths who have murdered are actually missing part of their brain function. They simply can't feel empathy.
