In my experience straight people always wonder about this, always have an opinion about which way you go, but never bring it up.

This post did remind me of coming out.... I did then a couple years later my mom ended up living in my house. She started asking different questions about.... ummm... functionality and who does what and when and I refused to answer... then i bought her the Joy of Gay Sex.... told her to have a good read and let me know if she needed anything explained. She then only had one question and it was about snoballs..... lol.... after I fell off my chair I emphatically told her she would have to ask someone else.

I think it's a young guy who's still living at home problem.

I never discussed my sexploits with my folks in my hey day - except once - when they caught us having some afternoon delight one day - and I GUARANTEE I wasn't the one bringing the topic up. Neither did my GF.
 
I've vacationed with my mom before and, shockingly, I was able to survive a week without hooking up with a guy.

I actually did meet up with an old flame while I was out there, and I guess we could have hooked up, but I just told my mom I was meeting an old friend for a drink and she went out by herself that night.
 
My family doesn't need to know my sex life, they all still think i am a virgin. I stopped talking to my aunt because she used to always ask me and it became awkward and annoying. My Mom works fulltime if i bring a guy over its during her work hours and he goes home or I'll go over their house after work.
 
We briefly discussed it when I was living with her. Now that I'm not living with her anymore, the subject of my sex life never comes up and that's fine with me. I have friends that I can talk to about any sexual issues I may be having.
 
This would be one that would fit into the category of "Not a chance in hell!"....

I tell my mom almost everything. I don't tell in detail what I've done but I may call her on my way home and during the conversation she'll ask where I was or what I'm up to. I'll tell her I met someone for some casual fun or have said it was "just sex". She'll usually laugh and say "as long as you're careful" she knows I'm an adult and can make up my own mind. Our relationship is pretty open. She doesn't care. She wants me to be happy
