I have heard that Asians are shyer than white people in terms of nudity, public sex, group sex, etc. Is it true?
 
I have noticed that in the asian porn I have seen, the guys are certainly less vocal than white guys. They seem to just be more or less silent, which I find quite a turn-off.

However, it may be related to the overall culture as I know in parts of Asia it is not the done thing to show feelings and emotions too much for fear of it being seen as a weakness. Therefore if feelings are repressed in day-to-day life, that could explain a lot of things in the sexual life.

I know some asians where I live and they are not shy about group sex, but public sex is definitely on their no-no list. They are also ok with some PDA but again public nudity they have told me they would not do at all. Even being topless in public. Unless it was a swimming pool or sauna ;)

Just my few observations and personal thoughts.

The Japanese are definitely not shy. They are comfortable with nudity and japanese porn, gay or straight are all very vocal lol

Japanese are the shyest people I have ever known. They do not want to be shy but in fact when they are around people from other countries they are definitely shy especially because of their own physique features.
 
As a general observation I have found that Thai guys are inclined to be shy with foreigners,but only becuase of their lack of english. Once you have broken the ice so to speak they are very friendly. I am not talking about the ones employed in bars etc.

Japanese can be extremely shy. Many American teachers who teach english to japanese say in class they are too shy to speak up. American students, however, have no problems raising their hands to ask a question or to debate over a topic in class.
 
nightmale seems to be asking for opinions and when some others gave their opinion,he debates over it.What is the point of asking the question if asians are more shy than caucations?U might as well just say "Asians are shy".For your case, "japanese" to be more specific.
 
Asians may be shy in public but they are animal in bed? can't u make out by teh population explosion...
take this for instance..m muslim and from Mumbai, India and it is almost a taboo being gay here..off course things are changing, but not at a speed that we all want it to change in this part of the world..

however, when i go to gym...i see str8 men generally trying to make eye contact, they do not admit in having sex wid a guy in public, but they leave no stone unturned to have you in their bed after you give even a minor hint about your sexuality..
 
As someone with a American dad and Japanese mom I have to say japanese ppl arent especially shy or anything.
A better observation is that
Their more POLITE and formal
if your talking about the way YOUR treated
their IS a language barrier. Oh and Japanese is really a MONOTNOUS language! And ofcourse they consider themselves normal and Americans loud and wild.

I don't think the population has anything to do with the rate of sex. It has to do with geography - historically China and India are very fertile places with lots of rivers, so the population grew, because they could grow crops there.
 
I believe you find the same spectrum among Asians as every other race.
I have observed the very shy, average (usually comfortable with the language, culture etc) and some very aggressive Asians as well.

well on any nude bach in the world, europe, australia, canada...you dont see lots of asian people. the few asians i see on the nude beach here all wear bikini and swimsuit.
