It sounds like you had a preputioplasty which is a more conservative procedure than a full circumcision.

The first 2 days will be not-so-fun but it will get better after that. You may want to do some experimenting with snug briefs or loose boxers to find what is most comfortable for you. I have had patients say that they didn't want anything bouncing around (and they preferred tighty whiteys) and other said they couldn't tolerate anything touching their penis (they preferred wearing lose boxers).

I was recommended to wear loose boxers but will definitely do some experimenting if they are too uncomfortable. The nurse did say my glans might be extremely sensitive and I'm expecting it to be. However, part of the problem in the first place was that it was far too sensitive so i'm sort of prepared for that.

I just looked up the preputioplasty procedure but on the wikipedia page I visited it didn't sound or look anything like that. Basically they said I just had a partial circumsision which chopped some of the excess skin at the end which will be able to keep the foreskin retracted when I get erect. The worrying thing is i haven't actually SEEN it yet as it's still tightly wrapped up in a dressing!! I'm about to take a bath in a moment and if the dressing comes off I will see it but I don't expect it to look very nice at the moment lol.

You might want to read your post-op instructions again. If in fact you had a circumcision, you generally will have an incision and self-dissolving stitches and it's generally recommended that you not take baths for a few days.

On my sheets and after the nurses several times, it says I should take daily baths and she told me to take one last night (which I did) and not to worry if the dressing came off (which it did). I know it says the swelling and bruising will take a couple of days to heal but I couldn't help looking at it and thinking

I got circumcised in july and very happy i did.

and NO i did NOT loose ANY sensitivity.

if anything, i gained some.

Sex is more amazing than ever.

I'm very happy I was brave enough to do it and I don't regret it all.

get a second opinion and if it is not a medical issue, the leave it alone. Once you cut it off there is no return. No super glue available for that.

My b/f has almost the same issue and it is no problem and I for one love the extra foreskin..
