Do You Thinks the term "Daddy" implies dominance or do you think it's just a look?
To me it's more of a role that's played. But it's used by so many here to describe such a wide variety. Similarly, not everyone hairy is a bear yet you see those guys mis-labled too.
What do you guys think?

I think of it as more of a look or type--I keep getting called(by others) a cub even though I am more than old enough to be a daddy or bear--

I think it's just an age or a look. 50's, 60's, grey hair, beard or moustache, that kind of thing. I'd hate it if I hooked up with a 'daddy' and he wanted to be dominant or play the whole dad/son type of game. I'm not in to that at all. Equal in the bedroom, equal out of it...

They don't always have to be greying. :)

i think for some people it does for others, no it doesn't, it's just a convenient way of describing their taste in older men.

To me I also think it has a kind of attitude/role around the word. I don't see what's wrong with "older guy" rather than 'daddy' if it's just the way the guy looks. I don't think all older guys would appreciate being called 'daddies.' On the contrary I'm sure some don't want to hear older, but I'd rather hear that than 'daddy' because that's pretty creepy. My partner (28 years older) is not my "daddy." Awkward.

Well, to me the term 'Daddy' is all about looks! A typical Mature guy in his 40s 50s... Not necessarily dominant.. Whenever I see a sexy man in his 40s/50s I say "Wow! What a daddy!"
