Do you use a shredder?

I have a diamond cross-cut shredder. It makes big bags of confetti! I mix it with cardboard boxes in my recycling.

Where I live, paper for recycling has to be either tied up in stacks or in CLEAR BAGS. I can't put my credit card bills in a clear bag. Shredded it is.

I've never even thought about it, I've never heard of identity theaft where I live. It must be an American thing.

Why do you throw away your bank statements anyway? I put all such documents in a binder, in case I have to access the information later. It's come in handy more than once.

Wait until you're my age, and your bank statements go back 35 years. You'll purge them, trust me.

I just burn it in the fireplace or the firepit.

Before we had the house I'd just tear things into tiny bits and flush them.

However a shredder would be nice because it would make perfect kindling.
