Do you use facebook? why and what for ?

Facebook keep emailing me my potential friends ...

So, why do you use facebook ?

As an added bonus, it's like posting here on JUB, except you control the audience. So if you don't think I'm funny, clever, smart and attractive, I can just will you out of existence. So on Facebook, I'm considered wise, intelligent and oh-so-hilarious simply because I've cultivated the right crowd. JUB sort of acts as my reality check on that account.

If i'm on facebook, my behavior would be more careful.
I'm more honest and less careful with my opinions here.

The main difference between my JUB account and my FB account is that I get my freak on here. If I want to talk about what gets me horny, or my favorite sexual practices, or want to flirt shamelessly with another JUBber (or a whole slew of JUBbers), then this is the place for it. I'm still myself on Facebook - gay,out,and comfortable. But on FB yesterday, I posted about driving through a park with a heavy gay population and "enjoying the view". Here, I might discuss specific individuals I saw in the park, what soecifically turned me on about them, and what I fantasized about doing to them.

For me, Facebook became redundant when I realised that my news feed was home to a large group of acquaintances I no longer wished to associate with, and friends who otherwise had my phone number. Perhaps in the future it may again become relevant if I move away, or for what ever reason wish to reconnect with those from my past. As it stands currently though, it is of little to no use.

Keeping up to date what's going on with my college freinds (even though I do see them on a weekly/ daily basis). Our lecturers also always makes announcements about events and happening on FB. Also use them for group discussions and saving my hp $$

I do. It helps with networking, keeping up with friends, family etc. I've been able to see graduation videos and etc on it. Also I can follow news such as the Chicago Tribune and etc and keep updated on my favorite sport teams.

I set up a dummy account without my full name because sometimes the only way to see something is to log into it, but I don't use it. My friends boyfriend has some real cute pics of his dog that I was able to copy, so that's cool about it.

I was hesitant to make a facebook because I thought it was pointless but I eventually caved in and made a facebook over a year ago. I deleted it about 2 months ago after I realized I didn't care about what 95% of the people I was friends with were doing with their lives. The 5% I did care about I was able to keep in touch with through calling, texting or in person. I thought it was kind of fun for a while but I didn't really find it that useful for me.

Perhaps the question could be flipped around. Would anyone here seriously consider recommending or liking a JUB thread to their facebook page for it to be reported to your real life family and friends and then for them to click on it to be confronted by an advert for Naked Sword with a guys cock up another guys ass?? If not, be careful when surfing JUB that you know exactly what you're doing when you click on 'be the first of your friends to recommend this' or that you don't click on something accidentally. OR, be careful that you are logged out of facebook before surfing JUB. FB 'MAY' be watching you!

I'm seriously beginning to hate the fact that you can't even fart these days without it being reported on facebook or at least without facebook wanting to know about it.
