I have no desires to get married and, if that changes, I'd prefer it to be a small and secular event.
 
Depends on what my wife wants. But I think it's inevitable it will be a HUGE event. My family is quite large and my mom didn't have a real wedding herself (it was in City Hall) so she's gonna live vicariously through my sister (who's wedding she's had planned since she was 4) and myself.
 
My wedding will be Chelsea Clinton style- hundreds of guests, rent out a mansion for the reception, string quartet, bridezilla fits of rage...

Seriously, I want my wedding to be memorable and enjoyable for me and my guy and all that attend- big or small. I'll probably have a medium sized wedding that only looks like a big bucks wedding. ;) Now as for the honeymoon, that's where it pays to lay down the dough because it's just us.
 
I leaned toward "I never want to get married" as my answer, cynic and anti-romantic that I am; but then I remember all the weddings I've gone to, and all the wedding presents I've bought over the years, and I want some of my own back. And I know to get good prezzies you have to put on a good show with good catering and a DJ if not a band. But it wouldn't be "over the top"...none of my friends or family have enough money to spend on presents to be worth that kind of an effort. ;)
 
In May my partner and I had a committment ceremony at SanFranciso city hall wearing jeans. Until its legal I'm fine with that and would probably do the same thing when it is .
 
I don't really know...

My father has a large family, but we don't speak with a lot of them for a few reasons...But I don't know if I'd invite anyone from my father's side, if only because I haven't really bothered to come out to any of them.

It's mostly that I don't see my father's relatives all that often, whereas on my mother's side I see them a lot so they know about my homosexuality.

As for a wedding...

I can't see it more than a few people, family and friends, and what have you. A small ceremony, tasteful dinner reception afterward...

Torn on a dance, since I hate dancing...
