The S3 premiere was amazing imo. I can't wait to see the gang exploring their new powers.

I LOVE Rudy to bits already. Surprisingly, I didn't find myself even missing Nathan. At all. Totally was not expecting Rudy's character to be like that...Very interesting. Rudy has so much more potential as a character and is already more well-rounded than Nathan after only a single episode. He's more than just the comic relief unlike Nathan, tbh. As much as I liked Nathan, I think the show has moved on perfectly without him.

All in all, very excited. S3 is off to an awesome start.

Curtis is a zillion times more interesting with his new power. I thought he always had the weakest characterization of the bunch but this episode really made me love/appreciate him more. Fuck, that was awesome and hilarious. And I think I'm kinda gay for "Melissa."

Melissa's exchanges with Simon = Adorable. And why am I suddenly shipping Rudy & Curtis? Unf. At this rate, I'll be shipping Rudy w/ everyone. Wtf.

A+. Hopefully after this episode fandom will stop shitting on Curtis. lol

S3 episode 3 was cool but it made me realize that I'm kind of over Simon & Alisha's romance/relationship. I got swept up in it at first but...For some reason, it's just not working for me anymore. It's like they're smothering each other and it makes them kind of dull to watch as a couple.

The next episode looks super good tho. Nazis? Wut.

I haven't watch the new episode but Simon is absolutely boring. He was interesting at first ( his personality somehow reflected my old self ) then it started to went down hill after the super hoodie thing. He is trying too hard to be something he wasn't to be. That is real painful to watch.

I love Kelly. Among the group, she is the one who shows that she cares for others.

^ Yeah I think that's it, that is part of what's bothering me. I miss the old Simon who was slightly crazy/creepy. And the wild Alisha was kind of bitchy and selfish.

It seems like Simon and Alisha's character arcs are relying too heavily on them being in love/a couple and that is just super boring, having them develop only in the context of a romantic relationship.

Yup. I don't really feel that they're in love. I think Alisha is really confuse right now. She likes the future Simon, not future Simon in training. Simon is tagging along with her because he never had anyone in his life.

And Seth is really hot. Hope he stays around and possibly end up with my fav Kelly.

Episode 3 was ok. The guy's power was cool, but I would be writing comics of me hooking up with guys I never could. I thought he was a little too attached to Simon to only wanting him to be Super Hoodie. I thought there was something else going on. And Alisha and Simon are still cute together, but the writers have put them into "that couple where neither character are interesting to watch on their own". The new powers suck really bad. Rudy seems like a carbon copy of Nathan where its really obvious when he says off the wall stuff. I prefer sensitive Rudy instead. Seth is sooooooooo FINE, that tattoo on his neck does it for me. So far this season is just ok. Hate to admit it, but with Nathan gone the shows a lil dull.

Episode 4 was fucking amazing. Love how the story played out. Kelly was super awesome and bad ass. She and Seth make a real cute couple. They can write off Simon. He's getting on my nerves.

Yeah, Nathan used to be my favorite character on the show. Since he's been off, Kelly has quickly taken his place. I fucking love her. That scene with Hitler at the end was terrific. Next week's episode looks to be even better. The romance budding between her and Seth is really getting good.

Totally agree. It was super amazing.

And I think I'm finally starting to like Seth. Before I was indifferent but now I'm really rooting for Kelly and him to get together. They'd be a sweet couple and it would be interesting to see how it would change the group dynamic if they stay together and he becomes on a regular on the show.

I hope they don't kill off Seth like they did with Nikki (Curtis), Sally (Simon), Charlie (Rudy). I think Seth is trying to resurrect his dead girlfriend/wife but I am good with the upcoming episode focusing on Kelly and Seth.

I think they'll keep him around. Otherwise how will the gang keep switching powers? So that's why I'm thinking they'll try to work him in as a regular.

But you're right, they do kill people off a lot on this show.

Every episodes. LOL. People just died. The only emotional part is that they killed off Nathan's half brother and then his spirit tried to make Nathan make amends with his dad. I was tearing up when Nathan knows that he died.

I am good with the gang powers right now. Curtis can be a comic relief with his gender switching. Kelly obviously kicking in with her 'fucking rocket scientist' power, Rudy's power can be a fun thing to watch, Alisha can be a peeping Jane and Simon don't even use his power anymore. He only used it twice? in the show. He should able to predict stuff like Phoebe Hailliwell in Charmed instead of using it for jumping from buildings to buildings.

I hope there is an episode bringing in their new powers ex users, that would be awesome.

I really do enjoy their new powers, even though I know a lot of people think they're boring. I think they make for unique story telling that isn't super cliche superhero stuff.

I was like MEH when the first episode reviewed their new found powers. But as the series progressed, I was like, wow, this is fun (esp. Curtis's episode). Yes, this isn't your typical go save the day superhero series. In fact, I think they're just normal ( well, exclude the killing part ). They never used it to change the world ( it is a forced situation for Kelly), or do good deeds nor use it for bad purposes ( the bank rob was forced too)

Which kinda stands out from the bunch ( Heroes etc. )

I'm so in love with Seth/ Kelly. But knowing that this is Misfits, they're going to make me regret getting emotionally invested in this pair. I hope Rudy is right and that Seth is now "one of the gang."

Oh and poor Shaun the Probation Worker Guy. Even though he annoyed me a lot with his sexual harassment of Female!Curtis, I liked him. The gang is kind of evil for letting him die.

Major spoiler! Shaun died? I like his non chalant personality. Three probation workers just disappear out of thin air. Hmmm.

I think there is a possibility of killing Seth off in the series 3 finale which I personally hate it to see.
