Do you wear a watch?

There is quite a selection here: http://www.watchshop.com/Lifemax-Watches.html?st=talking
It's a UK-based shop but I would guess the same models are sold around the world. You could probably change the strap for one of those natty "Nato" jobs.
I'm surprised none of them has particularly big numbers though, considering they are aimed at the sight-impaired.

If you want big figures, treat yourself to a vintage Railroad watch, something like this.

Thanks! That is a beautiful-in-its-simplicity piece. I have difficulty with the numbers on digital - with hand-rotation timepieces I have difficulties with the hands - I can't discern between the hand lengths, but I can tell where they point by the placemented blurs. I did just receive an accessibility catalog, going to take the descriptions and see what I can find online for talking and braille. I expect vision to go down drastically shortly, work-related, so I'm planning ahead.

I don't because it's either too loose or too tight, and I don't really need to see what time it is. If you pay attention there are clocks everywhere. I was given a formal watch for my 18th birthday and I must have worn it 5 times at best. I bought a cheap Casio for work and it was leaving a mark on the wrist. A former coworker recently gifted me a mid range Brosway and I have to say I like wearing it when I go out, has a silicone band, but it's more of a fashion item for me and I still take the phone out of my pocket even with the watch on my arm...

I wear a watch - a Seiko which I gave to my late father for birthday or Christmas. When I'm wearing it, I think of him. :D

Yes, I wear a watch every time I go out. I have a Seiko and love it as well as it being a fashion item. I don't usually carry a cell phone.

Sports watch for activity and dress watch for social occasions.

In both instances it is better than carrying or glancing at a phone which may be construed as rudely checking for messages.
