How about front to back or back to front?
 
Interesting thread. I am sure some people do it sitting down. But yeah the toilet water, not being able to move your hand as much, and etc.

I always stand up to wipe my ass. Sitting down just sounds weird.


But then again I do go to the bathroom naked. When I am sitting on the toilet anyways.
 
Standing up.

It's hard to maintain the position of being crouched over the toilet in a half squat trying to clean up.

Naturally, being a woman, I wipe front to back to avoid getting an infection in my lady parts. [-X

I used to wipe standing up when I was a kid but now I wipe sitting down. It's easier I think to clean it really good.
 
standing and front to back - its the way i have always done it.

Wow! I'm 58 years old and I've never heard of anyone standing up to wipe themselves. It sounds horribly messy. Yuck!
 
Wouldn't you have to have a flat ass in order to clean yourself properly standing up? I mean, otherwise, on it's way out, the dirty toilet paper would probably rub up against your cheeks.
