That is my opinion as well.

I haven't measured in years but I'm sure it's either 5 or 5-and-a-half, but it doesn't bother me, never has.

And I agree, too big wouldn't do anything for me, seriously. The smaller, the more manageable they are. Less chance of gagging, and less chance of pain and bleeding. Simple as that.
