I'm sorry dear. Maybe you missed the word I used. It was "vice", in which I referred to the "other" drugs. Are we feeling a little defensive?

Anyway, in case I was not clear enough to anyone else - I am referring to the OTHER DRUGS!

1. No - smoked heavily for 18 years, quit 12 weeks ago. I've only slipped up once in that time so I'm pretty damned pleased with myself.

Cold turkey? Good on ya! Please send some of that willpower my way! I'm down to 5 or so cigarettes a day, but I need to just stop.

Alcohol? Nah. If I go out with folks who drink, I'll have one just to be sociable, but that's about it.

Weed: Yes, about as much and as often as regular drinkers imbibe, I'd suppose.

Other drugs: No. Have done, in my youth, but done with that part.

1. yes, but not too much. less than or around a pack a week. i don't feel addicted. more of a social/pleasurable thing, i don't "need" it.
2. socially, not very heavy
3. used to smoke weed all the time in high school, cut back drastically my first year of college (basically quit except for a spurt here and there in winter), now i've quit totally... not the same, not interested
4. done a few in the past, still do MDMA on the rare occasion (maybe twice a year), wouldn't mind trying psychedelics
