Well, not really your balls, more like your scrotum. Towards the back underneath my balls, along the side on either side of my balls, or sometimes right in the middle between my balls. Sometimes they really itch and nothing fells better than to scratch. I usually pinch the skin between my thumb and fore finger and just kinda twist

For as long as I remember this has been the case with me - I assume it was pretty normal. Usually it is only at night and very rarely during the day. But before I go to bed, I usually have to do a lot of scratching and then it is OK.

Is this typical or might there be a problem. Some days are worse than others but about every day my scrotum itches

I don't want to scare you man, but I had the same feeling some weeks ago, I thought it was weird as well, but didn't do anything thinking it was all just normal. Then I found out they were crabs.
Do you feel the itch only on your scrotum or somewhere else round the genitals? If I were you I'd check very carefully all around your pubic hair. Crabs look like moles in size, colour and shape, and they don't move much, that's why it took me some time to realize that I had them.

Thanks, I'll take a look. But I really don't think that is it, because I've had the same itch for as long as I can remember - 10 years or so. And really it is more of an itch that is internal as in inside my scrotum and not on the outside.
 
natural itching is usually caused by dry skin. Some moisturizer should do the trick on any location. A little is all it takes. Just don't get too excited.
 
Had the same itch when I played sports in high school and college. Just dry skin... put some moisturizer on it, and you'll be fine. (Dude, if you had crabs, you wouldn't have been able to sit still to type your original message! LOL)
 
Sounds like Jock Itch to me, some people it more of a night is because your body sweats more when you are in bed, this can irritate/aggrovate the fungi causing your balls to itch. In similar situations certain shower gel's can set it off.

Sometimes it goes on its own but if you're still suffering from really itchy balls you should probably get some of the anti-fungal cream or sprays that are on the market and it'll soon disapear.
 
Since you've had it for a long time, it's just an itch. I would only worry if your skin got scaly or you have some pain. Try some gold bond for relief.
 
honestly, try washing them more. Not only in the shower but every so often when you sweat more.

As soon as I get home from work (or out the whole day) the first thing I do is take off my clothing and go wash myself down there..balls, sack..everything else, then put on a new pair of undies or just go naked.

I'll do the same after exercise or sweating.
 
Does anyone occasionly get like a tingling feeling on your scrotum it happens at night usually and when the scrotum is tight i think it has something to do with cum production but i've had it since I was little so I dont know? I know it isnt anything to do with crabs or being unhygenic.
 
I am retired now,
and can reach down there and manipulate my scrotum
anytine I want. It is such a cool thing to do.
Then I get a whiff of my fingers. Unliess it is a
fungal or STD induced condition, it is rather satisfying to
help the scrotum which is very versitile and stretchy to
exercise it with your fingers. It is great fun.
