we go to hooters every now and then with some friends to watch various sporting events. the wings are great, as are their oysters, and there's usually a lot of hot str8 guys there too. we'll be there for the superbowl

I'm not even remotely interested in women...or sports...but there's just something about going to Hooters (the restaurant) that I enjoy. Anybody else like that? I don't even like their food all that much....

I went there once. Our waitress was kind of nasty-looking and there was just an overwhelming sensation of raunch hanging in the air. Like I was expecting to find a Band-Aid in my food.

There are at least 3 of them near me. I have never been. My straight friends told me that the food is not very good and the girls are not very pretty. So I have never pushed the issue. There are too many other restaurants that are good than to go there.

I know what good Buffalo wings are, and what bad ones are - Hooters' wings are, at best, average...probably below. If I was a teacher I'd grade them D+.

If I was an English teacher I wouldn't be starting the sentence with "If I was..."

They're still edible, though, besides the thick greasy coating (Soilwork described it well), because there's still the meat inside which is still reasonably good and not totally dried out. But, then, wings have always been my favorite part of the chicken.

There IS more eye candy at Hooters than your average restaurant - the CUSTOMERS, that is - because the demographics skew toward the young side there.

I went one time after work with some (presumably straight) male and
female co-workers. More of an 'office politics' thing, really.

Having been a waiter myself quite a while back, I know that at times it can
feel like you're only one step up from being a whore. You're pretending to flirt, act interested in what your clientele have to say and
be nice for money (tips) after all.

But, Hooters takes that up a notch.

It amazes me how gullible horny straight men can be, especially after a few
beers. Believing that these tarted-up women are actually interested in them.

After a few frosty ones myself, I found the whole thing more depressing than anything else.

I won't be going back anytime soon.

If you love HOOTER's or want to try it out, then I recommend you come to Las Vegas, to the NEW Hooter's Casino/Hotel...

If you're familiar with Las Vegas, then you probably remember the old San Remo located across the street from the MGM Grand and next door to the Tropicana....they bought this property and totally re-decorated it into a Hooter's place...

People who enjoy this kinda place tell me it's great; but I don't go in for this kind of place.....

Actually,I went there with my brother when we vacationed there last April,he dragged me into it...fairly nice atmosphere,had a group singing who were all right...nice enough place,but would rather be served by half naked guys...got the nameof such an establishment thought out (shameless on my part)"Cocktales",of course!

Yeah, but nobody goes there for the food. Once they get the guys in there eyeballing the waitresses and getting drunk off their asses, the food doesn't need to taste good, lol.

I went to the Hooters in Florida once with 2 friends of mine. The food kinda sucked and, of course, the atmosphere wasn't interesting to me. Why I let them talk me into going is beyond comprehension.
