Does anyone know of a good online general discussion GLBT forum?

I was wondering if there are any thriving and active online GLBT forums, similar to a forum like lgbtcommunityforum.com or city-data.com/forum?

In the case of the “LGBT Community Forum” website, it is not thriving or very active. Though the “City Data” website is very thriving and very active, however it is a general discussion forum mainly for straights and they do not have an exclusive discussion forum or category for the GLBT community or GLBT issues.

Yet I was just wondering if someone can tell me if there is a good, thriving, very active general discussion type GLBT online forum out there. Since I’m 49 years old, I’m looking for a LGBT forum where GLBT people of all ages participate and is not a forum/website primarily for a certain age group. Yet if it is a an all gay general discussion forum (with members of all ages), then that will work for me as well.

Again, I’m looking for a GLBT forum that has “general” discussions of issues involving the GLBT community. I’m “not’ looking for a forum that focuses on politics or religious or sexual issues, I’m looking for one that covers “ALL” general GLBT issues.

I'm mainly looking for a forum that is similar to lgbtcommunityforum.com or city-data.com/forum, one that is very active and alive that discusses general topics & issues concerning the GLBT community. The JustUsBoys "Religion, Spirituality & Philosophy" forum, is not quite what I'm looking for. Yet thank you for that suggestion.

ShihTzuTylenol, yes I have checked out the Hot Topics forum. LOL!!! But "Hot Topics" it is not quite the type of forum I'm looking for. For example, now that I'm almost 50, I'm looking more toward topics and issues that would be of interest to the GLBT community that is 50+ years old, whereas I'm sure that most of the members that post to JustUsBoys's "Hot Topics" forum are under 40 years of age and have very little interest in the topics and issues of people that are 50+ years old. Yet thank you for your suggestion and help though.

Yes, datalounge.com, although the only downside to this forum is that you can't post your own threads without paying for 18 bucks.

You might want to look at Real Jock forums.
They are active and its age is mainly 30's - 60's. Not to say there are not a lot of members in their 20's.
Of course there is way too much emphasis on body building which seems to be addictive as a guy gets older to retain the youth and talk about how a 55 yr old is feeling better now then when he was 23.
But the topics are diverse.

I'm not sure what exactly topics you are talking about that a 50 yr old gay guy faces that are so different from a 30 -35, or anyone who is a adult. You said they are not politics or religion.
If you want to talk about things such as a retirement community rather gay or straight those forums are specific.

There is a large active group of decent guys here which may not answer the threads of sticking pencils in your piss slit, or sniffing tread marked undies.

Post a thread on a topic such as you would like to see as a example and see if any comments are decent.

Thanks a MILLION for your help. I have never heard of the Real Jock site before, but it sure is great to know about. I'm sure that once I start using it, I will have a BLAST with it. Yet I hope from your posting, that it will help other JustUsBoys members who are looking for other thriving GLBT websites to surf at. Plus I hope that they may find your recommended website of interest, for entertainment, education, and a source for help (when they are in need). I especially love the diverse topic thing. COOL!!!

In my case, I'm interested in talking about topics like prostate and colon health, things one needs to know before they retire, how to live on a fixed income once one retires, best gay and gay friendly places to live when one retires, how to score ass when one is 80+ years old, which are best dentures or dental implants, how to have regular bowel movements when one is constipated (due to old age), is Buick still the “it car” to buy when one is 70+ years old, now to pick out a gay friendly retirement home, tips to avoid falling and saying "HELP! I can't get up.", etc. etc. etc. . . . the bottom line Vulgar_newcomer, most guys under 50 years of age would not be interested in the aforementioned things I listed. LOL!!! I’m sure that these topics would not generate one “serious” reply from a JustUsBoys member. LOL!!! Thus is why I wanted to find a thriving GLBT website that would deal with a diversity of issues and topics, while not focusing on politics or religion.

Thank you for your feedback, Cgymike. However in my own opinion, JUB would not be a good forum to discuss many issues pertaining to gay men that are 50+ years old. I'm not sure what the age breakdown is for JUB members, but since I have been a member, it seems that most of the men that I have seen post (when I have looked at their profile or where they bring up their age in a post) are under 40 years old. So I'm sure you youngens would not be interested in these topics that mainly pertain to men who are 50+ years old. LOL!!!
