It looks like when it gets lower down under the trees it becomes less steep.

I would do it as long as I didn't have to walk up a lot of stairs. I've been on things like that before but they were a lot more curvy and a little less high.

And yes...I'd do it, but... I more fear the wedgie after wards than the drop itself!

If I remember correctly, the record holder peaked somewhere around 96 kmh going down (close to 60mph)...

No I wouldn't do it. I'm not afraid of heights, but I really dislike fast downward movement.
