I'm just wondering. My new car has satellite radio, an ipod connection, I can listen to Pandora streamed thru the bluetooth. I sometimes listen to news radio on AM, but other than that I haven't listened to the FM radio not once.

In the house, I listen to Pandora or my Ipod thru the stereo system. We hardly ever even play our CD collection anymore.

I'm wondering if FM radio stations are going to go the way of black and white TV anytime soon..

I no longer listen to the radio, play CDs, watch TV, or read newspapers; I get all of my entertainment and info from the net.

I'm listening to it right now, we keep a local jazz station on the radio in our office. And I have a radio on at home all the time, tuned to the classical station, I can't sleep without it. But both are public radio rather than commercial.

Never willingly. They don't play 95% of what I listen to on the radio.

I had to the other day forgot my ipod, I really hate those days. I use my ipod no matter how long I'm going to be in my car.

Yes, and only one station, the only station I've been listening to for over 30 years.

CFMZ - a 24-hour classical music station.

I cant stand all the talk and the commercials drive me crazy. I'm in the NY metro area and there are tons of good FM stations, but the classical stations have gone bye bye, I used to listen to WFUV from Fordham U, I don't even do that anymore......

When I had my car I did but now that I don't (at least without going home and taking the rents), I never do.

Often.

Some NY classical stations are available online (WNYC, NY Q2)

Have you tried BBC Radio 3? The online BBC radio player allows you to listen again at any time within 7 days of broadcast.

Some applications are also available in case you need easy access to Internet Radio or streaming to devices on your local network. One alternative (Mac users):

Hardly ever anymore. I am always listening to the XM. Ironically being in the NYC area there are two stations that are on XM that I can just tune into on the radio.

I listen to WNYC (NPR, PRI, APM, occasional BBC programs) every morning and many afternoons.

WNYC is no longer a classical station. It's all news and talk shows now. They bought WQXR, which is now all music; they're sister stations, and divide the news/music workload.

Yes, I still listen to FM radio :) ...........I guess I'm old school...........I still don't have an iPod (I'm not an Apple guy).........and I still have my old Sony Walkman, which I still use occasionally! lol

I'm in Southern California, so I listen to 102.7 KIIS-FM.

Yes, every day. I don't have satellite radio, I don't use an I-anything and I'm happy with it.

I have an MP3 player but I only use it for running or working out.

I don't in my car because it's old and will give out any day now.

When I'm driving someone else's car, I'll listen to the radio if I don't have my ipod or if I don't have the cord to connect
