Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

On Topic Discussion Does anyone use a no frills or store brand product thats quite good?

Isn't that, in general, anybody who doesn't live in Canada?

Yes. And for that, we're sorry.

Between 1991 and 2007, there were different chains in the US that carried PC products.

And they are worth the visit to Canuckistan.

They are also available on amazon.

Have you been hurt by the Brawny man? :help:

Nope, I've just worked on projects w/ douchebags who build and promote brands. Needless to say, not a big fan of marketing.

Concerning the Brawny man....... ugh, flannel.

Indeed. There is very little truth in advertising. They spend millions to make billions and the customers often get less than they paid too much for.

The one house brand I specifically choose is Costco's Kirkland coffee (the 3 pound can) - I want a fine grind and I normally wouldn't have a choice of fine ground when shopping by price. I usually buy store brands but have occasionally compared and found the store brands inferior, but not enough to care.

Is durum wheat special?

Yes, it´s much harder than regular wheat, has a more attractive color and has more gluten.

Makes a very heavy Zoute Koek.

Thanks for that. :) We have wanted to try the Kirkland coffee for a while now.

For the most part I'm happy with the fine ground Eight o'clock coffee,New England brand breakfast blend(whatever that means)coffee,or even Chock full o nuts and Folgers coffee if you make it a bit stronger and its percolated.I'm certainly not a coffee connoisseur. As long as its hot strong and not bitter,I'm happy.

Hot...strong....black....and extra cream.... #-o

I use store brand Noxema in my hair. It keeps it better than gel or anything crispy

Go to the next tea party rally in your town and throw them at the crowd.

Add another paper tag to the original on the teabag; a pair of dangling balls, perhaps in an embossed motif. No dick, just the balls.

Yes, might take a second or two to attach each tag and cost a couple bucks at the printers, but I think it would be hilarious.

Great...I'll be in jail ^ ^ ^ while the neighborhood (brats)lovely children egg my house. :)

How do you figure? A light embossing, I doubt any of them could convince the others' it's a dangling pair, particularly if it's an artistic illustration sans penis. Well, unless they've got any artists there. But since it's a tea party rally, what're the odds?

-with further reflection, you might get a fine for littering. It's just, I couldn't pass up the puniful opportunity there.

Just yes. "Yes" itself is fewer characters than this site allows.
