I was just posting a thread as requested. I wish I could function on 3 hours sleep. I'm kind of envious.
^ Trump only gets a few hours sleep each night.
Wasn't Trump's mother Scottish?
From the same island as me. She lived in a house only a mile or two from where I was born and lived over 30 years. My aunt now lives further down on the same road.
So you're related to Cormac! Who'd have thunk it?

I once lived only a mile or two away from him too!

It seems very incestuous up there.![]()

Wasn't Trump's mother Scottish? Cormac could be related to both of them.![]()
Once a year, you do something straight?Vannie said:The night we turned the clocks back I slept 7 hours straight....holy crap!
MODS i'm fine with this thread so no spoiling my fun here.![]()
Nonsense. When Cormac speaks, people can understand him, even with that accent.
Once a year, you do something straight?
I'll bet Cormac has a cute accent.
I have the condition often called non-24 sleep-wake disorder - I have done all my adult life. I have no trouble at all sleeping a solid 7 or 8 hours every time - it's the time of day or night this happens that is completely haywire.
It's like living with a body clock always set at 25 hours. I mean it's never exactly that, but it means a full 'cycle' takes roughly three weeks. Half my life I am asleep all day and awake all night (or part of each) but since this has gone on for about 20 years now, I'm quite used to it.
P.S. I've been told by a sleep specialist that the cause is a lack of melatonin being produced in the part of the brain that regulates awareness of light or something like this anyway - he said it was a more common condition in the blind, but does sometimes happen to the visibly sighted too.
Margaret Thatcher famously ran the country on just a few hours sleep each night. I wonder if Cormac and The Lady are related.![]()

Not a good time then to mention that of my mother's four grandparents, three had the same surname.
And all joking aside, it's entirely possible, given the tiny gene pool on that island, that I AM distantly related to Trump!
My mother's roots go back for at least five generations and ALL her ancestors were purely from that island - I found that out from a local genealogist. I suspect with a surname like Macleod that Trump's mother was the same.
Just checked Wiki for more info, it mentions in passing a really small rural sub-region for one of his mother's grandparents - it is the same one as my own mother's grandparents! (surname is different though) I never knew that until today!
We have gotten heavily off-topic here.![]()
